Going Global: Inland Energy Benchmarks NTA’s NovaTech Implementations in the Philippines
August 17, 2026QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES — Demonstrating its expanding influence in the international power automation landscape, NTA Energy Solutions Corporation recently hosted key representatives from Inland Energy (Peru) and NovaTech Automation's LATAM Team for a high-level benchmarking initiative held from August 3 to 7, 2026. The week-long visit focused on evaluating NTA Energy’s real-world implementations of the NovaTech Automation Orion Grid Automation Platform across diverse, complex power sector applications.
As the factory-trained representative of NovaTech Automation, NTA Energy showcased the Orion platform's capabilities as an embedded HMI, Power Plant Controller (PPC), and Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for both conventional utility operations and renewable energy integration.
About Inland Energy S.A.C.
Headquartered in Lima, Inland Energy S.A.C. is a premier Peruvian electric power generation and transmission company established in September 2015. Operating as a subsidiary of Luz del Sur S.A.A.—one of Peru's primary power distributors—Inland Energy focuses on developing, constructing, and managing clean energy projects across hydroelectric, solar, and wind technologies. Their participation in this initiative underscores LATAM's drive to incorporate advanced, scalable grid automation into their growing renewable energy portfolio.
Key Site Benchmarking
The visiting delegation toured prominent power facilities and major utilities across the Philippines to examine active Orion RTU deployments:
Raslag Solar: Operational review of Orion RTUs functioning as Power Plant Controllers, gateways, and RTUs interfacing with the Philippine National Grid.
Angeles Electric Corporation: Live demonstration of the embedded HMI (Orion SCADA) and customized reporting tools.
MERALCO: Discussion on the deployment of Orion RTUs within the country’s largest distribution utility network.
National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP): Technical analysis of Orion RTUs acting as data concentrators, PPCs, and RTUs critical for renewable energy integration into the main grid.
Technical Scope and Industry Impact
Throughout the site tours, collaborative discussions centered on four primary technical areas: system architecture and data acquisition methods, integration workflows, monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and long-term equipment maintenance procedures.
The technical exchange highlighted NTA Energy's engineering delivery model while allowing the LATAM delegation to explore scalable strategies for Peru's evolving energy infrastructure. The visit reinforces NTA Energy Solutions Corporation’s trajectory as a trusted grid automation leader within the Philippines and across international markets.
