With a communication device installed, an IntelliCap 2000 Control can also operate in response to switching commands from SCADA and more. Local status information and feeder data are additionally available remotely, and remote configuration is possible.

The IntelliCap 2000 is built to handle the demands of modern distribution grids with high DER penetration using a variety of intelligent control strategies for automatic voltage, time, temperature, time-biased voltage, and time-biased temperature control. VAR and current control strategies are optionally available.
Intellicap 2000 also features automatic adjustment for seasonal, holiday, and daylight savings time.
