ERMLG
Test Block and Test Plug
The ERMLG Test Block and Test Plug provides facilities for monitoring and secondary injection testing of any power system protection scheme, removing the need to disturb protective system wiring for testing. It is housed within an Epsilon enclosure and has 14 pairs of spring loaded contacts which are linked to a terminal block positioned at the rear of the enclosure. Each pair of contacts are normally closed, completing the circuit through the test block when the associated protection equipment is in use.
Key Features & Capabilities
Enables secondary injection testing of any protection relay without disconnecting wiring
14 pairs of spring-loaded contacts that maintain circuit continuity during normal operation
Insertion of the test plug safely isolates or provides test access to the relay circuit
Housed in a robust Epsilon enclosure for reliable and durable panel installation
Terminal block at the rear for secure, permanent wiring connections
Eliminates the risk of wiring errors during testing — all connections remain intact
Works with the ERMLB01 multi-fingered test plug for comprehensive test access
Reduces testing time significantly compared to traditional disconnect methods
IDEAL FOR Substation maintenance engineers, relay testing specialists, and commissioning teams who need to test and verify protection relay performance quickly, safely, and repeatedly without any risk of disturbing live panel wiring.
